Tell me about yourself and why you started using essential oils?

I’m a wife, mom to three, and holistic health coach. After my second baby was born I started experiencing some physical and emotional health problems. Several of which will be with me throughout the rest of my life. While lots of options were presented to me, I was determined to find natural solutions to support both body and mind. My health began to drastically improve through simple practices of a whole foods diet, exercise, self-care, and most recently the addition of aromatherapy through essential oils.

What motivated you to start building a business with doTERRA? When did you decide you would commit to it for the long term?

Many people are drawn into the business side of doterra after falling in love with the oils. My story is the opposite. I was looking for an opportunity to provide for my family, while working from home & doing something that went hand-in-hand with my health coaching practice. My passion for the oils quickly followed.

How has your life changed since using and sharing these oils?

I sought out doTERRA in an effort to change my life. I saw the financial opportunity, community, and support the oils could provide my family. My experience both using and selling essential oils has been incredibly fulfilling.

What has been an obstacle or limiting belief in your business that you have since learned to overcome, and how?

Learning to balance my passion & drive with taking care of myself and my family. I love my work, it fills me up! Over the last year I’ve experienced a big learning curve in pacing myself. This is a viable long-term career option, not a sprint to wealth. Being able to step back and see the bigger picture has allowed me to achieve greater balance.

What is a piece of advice you give a new builder starting their business journey?

This business is all about connection. Allow yourself the privilege of being you and others will be drawn in. You’ll find like-minded women lining up down the street who connect with you and your unique story.

What has surprised you most about building a doTERRA business?

I have been blown away by the way doterra has checked so many of my personal fulfillment boxes. It’s self-improvement, financial abundance, connection, community, friendship, and well-being all rolled up into one.
